To an extent, that makes these even more accurate.)Īrtoo-Detoo showing off all of his gadgets.I've already made a post on my R2-D2 model yesterday, but I figured I'd lump all of the models I've done to date in this one post. That being said, in the Star Wars canon, R2 Units were a higher grade than the R5 units, and that the R5's had less gadgets. (Although, R5-D4 has a newer head model, so he does not have the gadgets that the other R2-Units have. Both are basically recolors, so they all have the same functionality. I have also done "conversions" of the model to create R5-D4 and R2-KT. (Notice the Blue/Black Holoprojector, and the silver panel on the back) but it has a number of gadgets from the prequels as well. This is my Artoo-Detoo rig, based majorly off of A New Hope.
Happy New Year, all! 2020 has been one hell of a year, but now we're moving on to the next! Some of you have probably seen my work before on the forums or the discord, but since I had not been in the reddit community before, I figured I would post a couple of my models here.
